Privacy Policy

Your right to privacy is paramount in all things that we, Accelerator Solutions Limited, do.

General

Our research is founded upon the willing co-operation of respondents. It depends upon their confidence that research is conducted honestly, objectively and without unwelcome intrusion. The purpose is to collect and analyse information and not to directly influence opinions. The information you supply will not be used directly for any purpose other than the use of the research findings to gain insight and help our client make business improvements.

All surveys undertaken by Accelerator Solutions Limited comply with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, and also with UK GDPR.

We may, from time to time, make changes to this statement. If there are any changes or additions, we will post them here so that you will always know what information we collect and how we use it.

Confidentiality

The answers that you give us, any contact details you supply, documents that you upload or correspondence with us, will be treated as confidential unless you have given your consent to the contrary. If we ask you for permission to pass on data or information in a form which allows you to be personally identified, and you give that permission, we will ensure that the information will be used only for the purposes stated. We will not send you unsolicited email or pass on your email addresses for others to send you unsolicited email.

Quality assurance

In addition to the undertakings we give you here, we are committed to meeting the requirements of the following laws and codes:

  • UK GDPR
  • The Market Research Society (MRS) Code of Conduct
  • European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ICC/ESOMAR) International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice

Research findings will always be reported accurately and will never be used out of context or to mislead anyone, in any way.

We will not knowingly collect any information from children without prior permission from their parents or legal guardian.

Accessing your information

Upon written request, and wherever reasonable and practical, we provide individuals with access to all personal information we have collected and maintain about them in accordance with UK GDPR. To make a request, please contact us at the address below.

Safeguards and security

Data security

We work hard to ensure that our systems are secure and that they meet industry standards. Where appropriate, firewalls, encryption technology, user identification systems (such as passwords and personal identification numbers) and access control mechanisms are employed to control access to systems and data.

Our website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Only certain employees have access to the information you provide us. They have access only for data analysis and quality control purposes.

Use of AI tools

Accelerator Solutions uses AI-assisted tools to support internal research analysis, drafting, and operational tasks. Where these tools are used in connection with personal data, we ensure that:

  • personal data is kept to the minimum necessary and anonymised where possible before being processed through AI tools
  • any AI tool used to process personal data is covered by a Data Processing Agreement with the vendor
  • personal data is not used to train AI models by third-party vendors
  • no automated decisions are made about you using AI tools

Where AI tools are used to assist with processing research data, all outputs are reviewed by a human researcher before being used or reported. AI tools do not replace human judgement in our research process.

If you have any questions about how AI tools are used in connection with your personal data, please contact us at DPO@acceleratorsolutions.com.
